Meeting and speaking
with Sally Angus for life-coaching has proved to be a complete
gift from a friend's referral.
Right from our initial meeting, to see if the personality fit
was correct, to our short series of one on one sessions I have
had a wonderful opportunity to address my life's issues through
positive introspection and then self-help via action points
focused on what can be changed and acceptance
of what cannot.
Sally has an exceptional ability to listen to an individual and
seek out aspects of what is being discussed to identify exactly
what the real issues are! She helps pinpoint where energy
is being wasted and empowers people to help themselves through
positive approaches to life's roller coaster of emotions and situations.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sally to anyone who is looking to change
their life for the better through professional life coaching
to transition to a world where in-depth worries no longer exist.
Thank you Sally!

I contacted Sally
in January 2005 at the biggest cross road of my life. Having just
survived a major cancer battle I had resolved to seek help to consolidate
my life vision and plans.
Through working with
Sally I have already been able to meet and exceed all my expectations
of what might be achieved. Together we planned my exit from the
corporate environment and into formal training as a life coach.
We established momentum on writing my first book, and " Life, happiness
and a cancer diagnosis" will be released throughout New Zealand
early in 2006. A second book project is now in the planning! I am
living the dream I had imagined and I owe Sally a gratitude I will
never be able to repay fully for this set of outcomes. Not only
did she provide me with a friend, supporter, co-planner and adviser,
she was also my logistics troubleshooter, connecting me with whomever
I needed at various points to roll out my plan. These included training,
branding, legal, accounting, website and computer support. She also
taught me to do something I'd never been able to do - to just 'be'
and to enjoy the journey!
Sally ~ I attended
your stimulating session at the Otago/Southland
weekend school earlier
in March. Following on from that I have written
up my inspirational 'role'
(My role is to inspire schools to give children
wings to explore the
wonders of libraries.) and plastered it on my
computer, noticeboard
and diary. This is a great reminder of the 'bigger picture' on days
when the detail can become tedious. Thanks for your valuable input
and I'm hoping to pick up on some more of your ideas as time goes
on. Kind regards . . .

My objective was to
record and commercially release an album of original compositions;
a goal that I had managed to cleverly self-thwart for over twenty
years. For me, Sally made molehills out of
mountains. Under her guidance, everything that seemed insurmountable
shrank until it became conquerable. Sally's unbridled celebration
of every successful step gave me belief, courage and enthusiasm.
The terribly serious business of achieving a lifetime goal became
a metaphoric weight-loss programme: everything that was once heavy,
became light. It was her ability to lighten the load, and to find
the easy route - a less steep approach - that saw me conquer the
first few peaks of the mountain range that I am traversing. And
now I say, "Bring on the rest; I've developed a taste for this."

Thanks so much Sally.
It's great to have goals to go on with and to take stock of progress
already made. I do so appreciate all your help in giving me this
wonderful gift of knowing how to succeed in, and enjoy my business.
Sally has been a mentor
for me for the past 5 years. She has continually encouraged me to
face new and difficult situations while achieving goals that I never
thought possible. I have found Sally’s sound advice and approach
invaluable. The techniques she uses to help me set and achieve work
and personal goals is very rewarding. She has given me the balance
in life I have really needed. Finally, Sally gave me the insight
and courage to launch my own business.

Sally Angus was my
mentor for a year. She worked with me on setting and achieving goals
and she really made achieving those goals happen. Through her mentoring,
obstacles dissolved and time expanded. What I learned from Sally
I now use every day.

Sally has worked with
several of our "key players" and provided them with a
professional focus and a belief in themselves. Her targeted coaching
has meant new energy, new skills and a new perspective on their
roles. This has enhanced our team culture and results.

By utilising coaching
techniques for group sessions Sally was able to deliver personalised
customer service training that my staff felt acknowledged their
individual situations and gave them practical, responsible strategies
for improving their performance.

Until I worked with
Sally I hadn't realised the value of a coach's skill to unleash
my strengths and aspirations. Sally's special style - natural, patient,
just-in-time principles for working through my problems or questions
and most of all her total commitment to my needs - made me feel
that my goals and aspirations were achievable.

The Be you Own Life

to doing some more work with you. You're so fantastic and honest
that I love sending people your way – cos you are a mover

The lessons I discovered
in Sally's class are life lessons that will be with me always. I
would say it has been one of the most valuable courses in terms
of personal growth and empowerment that I have ever done. You will
learn so much about exactly who you are and why you are that way
. Along the journey meet some amazing people and make some special
friends that know you on a very different and more special level
than most.

I've made some big
changes and now have a different outlook to how I approach the world
and this was due to the Life Coaching course and Sally's fantastic
communication skills. She was so approachable that it felt like
we'd known each other for years. Thanks Sally, you helped me cross
the bridge.

The Be Your Own Life
Coach course with Sally was a really positive experience ~ something
I looked forward to. It was practical at both the personal and at
the professional level...always energising, Sally is encouraging
and positive, sincere and ethical ~ she respects ones personal comfort
level.

I really enjoyed
the course for the following reasons. You were a catalyst for me
to think of my life from a different perspective, you were totally
objective/neutral in your language, you prompted me in a skilled
way to discover more of who I am, and what I need and want, you
have helped me in my relationships. As well, I loved meeting in
a "safe" group with something tangible to talk about and
problem solve about, and I made new friends.
Cecily Guarrera,
Teacher, Wellington
I thoroughly enjoyed
meeting you and working in a group with people of like minds who
are committed to creating choices in life and further defining the
distinctions of being my own life coach. I picked up some valuable
insights to pave the way towards being more aware of the words I
say that influence the outcome.

Sally's course gave
me useful tools for determining my priorities and achieving my goals.
A great way to 'spring clean' your life!

Special thanks to Sally for enabling me to "pinpoint"
aspects of my life that I was able to enhance and help find the
"real me". Most empowering. I also enjoyed the cafe environment.
